Visit my new blog updated regularly and seems to be taking off

http://spennies.blogspot.com

I have liked my time here at shoutpost, but the pro's outway the cons.

My biggest reason for staying would have been the people that have blogs here and have chatted and commented with me as I have enjoyed it and thanks and hope that we can still keep in touch at my new blog.

Thanks good luck and hope to see you there.

"Spring" in my step

(1)

It seems to me that this time of year makes me feel like I should rise up from my current hibernation and get outside more.  But I still see snow, I know it's spring training for my beloved Jays but they are in Dunedin not T.O. and the NHL & NBA are over the halfway points and in Vegas for the all-star festivities meaning spring cometh soon.

Having this head cold I seem to not be able to get rid of has actually catapulted my writing career into paying markets.  Though being home has hurt my creative writing it has pushed my non-fiction projects to the forefront.  Just this week I have started two new positions in the area of open topics and one specialty site.

I will get there, I just need to see some green on the ground.  I don't care what the groundhog said or saw.

I finished my newest article The Valentine's Affair located to the right just click link to open a new window------------>

Pay It Forward Tuesday!

(1)

For all of 2007 I have been hitting up the FWJ site and thanks to Deborahs great ideas/links I have become one of those writers who has went straight to my inbox mornings and seen a extreme rise in people wanting my writing services after I queried them.

So I started a blog, most writers have their own blogs to write what they want when they want it written. So the whole point of Paying it Forward is to keep it going. I would like you all to visit a fellow Canadian writer, who is in the start of her career, that provides a very good blog.   http://writer-in-the-making.blogspot.com/

Pay it forward Tuesday has given me double the readership of my blog and still only in its infancy.  So continue to come back as I will do my best to update continuosly as I am enjoying peoples aspirations and comments so far.

Wow! So this is blogging (part II)

I hadn't realized that it was so difficult for myself to adjust, change , edit any settings without completely screwing with the whole look of the blog. So in turn I have reverted back feeling defeated to the original fleck version layout that I likes mostly. I am unable to get my links and source code into the correct spots to collect some coinage.

My blog ended up underneath it all. My adsense stuff and affiliates ended up under my post and my blogroll followed. Which was strange and Google didn't even show up?  With my archive disappearing had me wondering.

I have successfully entered my email if any aspiring writers, friends or bloggers need some advice or potential employers need to contact me for any info.

So that was my gripe for tonight, which will be funny one day when I look back at all the trouble I had setting this thing up. So here's to the future where I can encounter new challenges to help me get on top of things.

Wow! So this is Blogging.

I guess the biggest reasons I started blogging were to have no restrictions on my writing besides my fiction writing albeit scripts or a novel. I would hope this would make me a better writer and free to just type. Even though I have the philosophy of just write from your heart and rewrite from your head.

This also could be a way to make money on casual work so I can focus the bulk of my time on bigger projects that may or may not give me a great financial gain in the future.

I am truly blessed even though I haven't hit my major breakthrough to quit the day job but with perseverance on my part I will get there.  So the person I am, starting to believe that others may be beginning down different paths early in their lives and will feel comfort in the fact of someone starting from scratch who is keeping at it no matter what is thrown infront of them.

So this is me putting myself out there and loving every minute of it while maintaining a coy smile.
